Second visit here, often a queue but worth the wait. The nettle with squid is stunning, the prawn mess just perfect and the egg amazing! The head chef a proper character too. Hugely enjoyable

1600 yens menu. Food is good. The boss speaks a little bit of english. He s also quite funny. The place is small, you eat at thé bar in front of the kitchen.
In the heart of Koenji (IMO the best Tokyo neighbourhood) sits this amazing tempura bar. Great service, great value and most importantly great food! A must try!
