If you want wagyu sukiyaki, this is the place. Don't go anywhere else. Absolutely phenomenal. 100 meters from the Kaminari-mon so there's no way you can get lost either. The.Best.Sukiyaki.Ever.

One of this famous restarunts is next to Tample of Sensouji. You are comfotable to eat Shab-Shab or Sukiyaki in Private room thaa you make reservation. In Japanese traditoinal inerior room, you feel and enjoy Jpanese culture. However for Japanese that you are used to...More

I was a little worried. Chin Ya means Chinese Dog. I only eat dogs from Vietnam. But these folks gave up the dog and vet business a century ago (they used to sell and fix Pekingese). Now they let you do the cooking in your...More

Couldn't visit Japan and not have shabu shabu! Loved this place. I was dining alone and was given my own private room! Very traditional Japanese place, open since the 1800's. Very sweet and friendly servers. Delicious food. I plan to eat here every time I...More

The food and service is good. But the decoration is a bit old. I use google map to search address on their web site, and it lead me to a alley and their back door. (Even the taxi driver takes me there) but the main...More

As a half Asian/half American, I grew up eating sukiyaki. It is one of my favorite Japanese dishes! It is a dish that is hard to find in America, since most places are either sushi bars or steak houses. So, while in Japan for a...More

We had a lunch set and enjoyed the Sukiyaki, but quite expensive. The service was excellent and the waitress dress in traditional kimonos.

This restaurant is well located near the Sensoji temple. It has good set menu options. If one goes for the Sukiyaki option, one can do by not ordering the most expensive beef. The service is typically attentive and good of a high quality.

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
