This is only a shop, not a restaurant, with some benches to sit on and also an automatic drink seller. These fried meatballs were very good and cheap, not to miss for a break!

When you are Asakusa Tanuki Street you simply must stop and buy a croquette at Asakusa Menchi. Because of the demand for them they are always hot and fresh. Simply put though it is the best croquette that I have tasted and my wife agrees!
The only reason I didn't put the last star in is its queuing time. Every time I visited this small shop off the main food street near Asakusa Temple, I needed to stay in line for at least 5 minutes. But the menchis worth it....More
Near Asakusa's street market, it is a great option for a quick meal during your stroll over Asakusa. I hardly recommend at least 2 menchis and a beer. Perfect combo. Not expensive, but a little wait time will be required.
