Unable to find this place in large complex which stated on a sign 26F but no lifts. Nobody around to help. Very frustrating and disappointing.

The food was incredible, I went for the lunch buffet, there was a variety of western and Japanese cuisines, but I stuck with the Japanese type. The view was amazing, we had a corner spot and great view of the SkyTree. There was a bit of a wait to be seated and the queues for the grilled food/meat was a... More

We went here for breakfast. The breakfast buffet is reasonably priced, but the lunch and dinner buffets are rather expensive. You don't need to stay at the hotel to eat here. I got here around 9:00 and there was only one family ahead of me. It was very busy, but we didn't have to wait long. There's a wide selection... More

This is where we had breakfast while staying at the Asakusa View Hotel. It was a buffet style breakfast with a spread of both Western and Japanese food. It was well laid out and all delicious in my opinion. If you got a seat with a view then that was lovely too. The downside was the queues for breakfast, unless... More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The views of Tokyo were excellent and it was worthwhile moving around the restaurant to see the views from each of the dining areas. The bonus is that the food is excellent, well prepared, tasty and a great variety on offer. Being a buffet it gives you the opportunity to try a... More

The buffet was outstanding. Many options, everything very well done. A large choose of beverages, crazy good desserts. What can I say? Best buffet I had in my life. The view doesn't kill either! I highly recommend it.

Breakfast till 10am but last order 9.30am. Breakfast on 26th floor with views to sky tree but sun rises this side and tables get hot morning sun. Other side in shade with views to Mount Fuji and CBD Shinjuku. Breakfast is great with heaps of Japanese fare with great bbq grill. One morning I arrived at 745am and was lucky... More

Located on the 26th floor of the Asakusa View Hotel. Staff are friendly, and the food is great. Find the coffee machine for a reasonable espresso/cappuccino. Once I realised I didn't have to start the day with awful American-style-dishwater-coffee, everything looked better! :-) yay

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
