After two weeks in Japan, we really enjoyed this Italuan meal. It was reasonable and very delicious. The salad was very good, the bruschetta excellent, and the pasta was very good. I would definetly recommend this restaurant.

Large Italian restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff. The pizza base was fantastic which is a good indicator of the quality of the place and the pasta dishes were great too.

Dropped by for some lunch at this restaurant in Ueno. Called in advance and they had a private room reserved for us. A basic pasta dish, spaghetti with parmesan and pepper was 10 CAD. My wife ordered a marinara pizza at 12 CAD. If you want coffee or tea, salad and garlic bread it's 3 CAD extra. So the price... More

Good service and delicious food! Perfect for just when we were craving pizza. The base was really thin, and the pizzas were quite wide. My partner and I really enjoyed this place.

I found this place completely by accident. I'd asked a girl in the street for a steak house and she sent me to an Italian. Oh why can't foreigners speak better English, I'll never know! Anyway, I ended up at this very friendly and quite authentic looking trattoria, albeit on the 4th floor of a block of appartments above a... More

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
