Evan I am not a beer lover i had 3 different kinds of beers. And after the great burger the riverside walk was a nice and comfortable ending.

Nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. Quite popular among both locals and foreigners. They have a good range of delicacies and some great beer which are locally brewed. You can also see a set of brewing tanks behind the bar. Staff is friendly and provides an efficient service. An excellent venue which I's choose to revisit!

My wife and I just went on a date to this restaurant after it being recommended to us by a friend. We had been floating around many ideas for the evening until we were recommended this place, therefore, we took the chance to go and check it out and we are so glad that we did. The location is fantastic... More

Excellent food, large portions. Fried chicken, (foie gras) hamburgers, huge portions on the ribs. I'm not a beer fan, but they have excellent cocktails (also try the River Lounge next door for martinis). Nice wine list. Don't forget to order an assorted bread basket. Bread made on the premises at the (also associated) Bread works. Reservations recommend on the weekend.... More

I ended up going here a couple times during my 6 day visit to Japan, once for beers and once for lunch. As other reviewers note, it is mainly an American food and beer bistro with a Japanese clientele. The beer is kind of a mixed bag...I found some varieties very, very good and others not so well done. The... More

This is a nice restaurant near the channel where you can enjoy a nice sunny day. Service is good and food is fine. Looks like an American restaurant in Tokyo with good burgers and local craft beer as well.... You should try them !!!! Dishes are big enough to share if you are not hungry (mainly desserts) but menu is... More

We met some friends here for dinner one evening, I expected it to be full of ex-pats but it was surprisingly a lot of Japanese people. I would stick to the beers they brew, the mixed drinks are weak and not what you expect given the menu. The food was pretty good, the menu has all different types of food,... More

I would avoid the mixed drinks as they are western recipes, not done very well. The Moscow Mule was just not right. The beer is excellent, the environment and service are great and it is a nice break for the US traveler to get some more familiar foods. I ordered a flatbread and it was very good. One in our... My friend and I caught up here for dinner on a Friday night. The staff were friendly and looked after us well. The overall atmosphere was also very pleasing. We enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin ale (it is a brewery, after all--and their wines were priced out of our budget) and shared several small dishes (scallops, spinach salad, buffalo wings), served... Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
