Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Having read that Cas Sucrer produced the best pastries on the island we were keen to try it. We were not disappointed and the food was excellent. It was busy with locals and the staff were helpful as we sat outside in the square. It was certainly good enough to return to for breakfast as we went back to the airport!

We had excellent coffee and tea here, and we also tried several of the local biscuit specialities. The little macaroons (amargos) were absolutely delicious.

From the volume of customers it was clear to see that people came from car and wide across Menorca to visit this renowned pastilerria. Gorgeous coffee, wonderful pastries and true Spanish ambience of eating in the busy street of a market town. Wonderful.

Perfect cute place for some quick breakfast as they serve a good coffee and all kinds of sandwiches and pastries. You should definitely try the traditional ensaimadas, which they are well known for. The service is quick and the prices are okay. You can also buy different kinds of bread or cookies to take with you. The baguette we bought was great and the casquinyols, cookies with a taste of lemon and cinnamon, we're delicious, too.

Take ensaïmada, enjoy the unique taste, also take the iberica sobrasada, the taste is so good with cheese and honey. They have the best takeaway ensaïmada of the whole Menorca. Try and you will repeat

We used to frequent most morning for hot coffee and chocolate croissants! Clean toilets, fabulous location right in the heart of Mercadal, where locals and tourists visit, and you are welcome to sit and watch the world go by.

Nice place to stop by for a snack with a good variety of local products. Ensaimadas are a must. Try the 'cabello de ángel' one. Good terrace in a pedestrian street situated in the centre town. The service is a bit slow but always with a smile and really helpful.

We ate some pizzas that were not bad, but it was marred by the rude treatment of the lady who attended us. I asked for his name and he wouldn't give it to me. Chestnut with blonde locks, with pigtail and glasses. Do something else, you don't know how to treat the public.

Thinking of tasting the best ensaimada in Menorca I bought an apricot ensaimada in this store. Great disappointment the dough was not cooked.Only apricots were eatable the rest ended up in the garbage.I was very disappointed.

The best ensaimadas we have ever tried, we had to return two days later because they didn't have the flavor we wanted. The second day the service was quite chaotic, tables that had already ended up waiting for a long time to pay and people standing in line unnecessarily. Not very efficient and very bad service. One of the tables gets tired of waiting for the POS and goes to pay inside and when he tells the waiter, he responds: “I'm not in any hurry.”
