Just ordered a takeaway from Red Rose. I do not usually write reviews but this is an exception. It was honestly the worst takeaway I have ever had. Loads of food, very tasteless. I wasted most of it but actually only ate some of it...because I was hungry. Most of the food went in the bin. What a waste of £20.00, which in these times is a lot of money! I will never order or visit there again. Very disappointed ☹️More
I tried ordering a takeaway via their website, but it didn't seem to work, so I went to the restaurant and found that the actual prices were higher. My food was ready quickly, portions were good value and the taste was OK but... I ordered...a chapati and received a tortilla. Yes, a Mexican tortilla. Having had both on many occasions I know the difference! A tortilla is not what I paid for and it is unacceptable for an Indian restaurant to pass off an item as something that it definitely is not.More
Monday 8th August, we’ve just got home from an awful evening. There was only one man greeting, waiting serving, he was very abrupt, rude and intimidating and above all not helpful or welcoming. We all drank soft drinks, which were flat as they were served...from plastic two litre bottles, the food was really bad, naan breads were greasy, I ordered a vindaloo which I agree is normally hot, but mine was tasteless but stupidly hot, way over spiced. There was only one other table occupied all evening. I shall not return and I suggest you don’t either. At £115 for four of us, I’m a little bit cheesed off! I would have complained to the member of staff attending, but his attitude was La king and I feel I would have been wasting my time.More
We ate at the restaurant. Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious! The only negative thing was the delivery drivers kept on leaving the door open and it was freezing and wet! Other than that we would come back here.
Great service and fresh tasty meals. Large portions and all hot and freshly cooked, service was attentive. The onion Baha’i were excellent some of the best we have had. All food was good we had so much we had to take some home.
Not impressed. Drivers cannot be bothered to spend 15 mins to deliver, despite offering to wait until other local deliveries , an hour and a half wasted from ordering on ubereats until being told that drivers would not travel 15 mins to deliver to us,...despite offering to wait for other local orders. Thank you for ruining our evening, thank you for keeping us waiting and missing opportunity to cook own meal, and thank you for ruining our bereavement and special mother's day evening for this weekend resulting in toast for dinner and complete disappointment. Would not order from again on principle as not good business people or even nice people.More
I ordered a meal for my mum and I for mother's day as an early treat but a few minutes after placing it the order got cancelled. I phoned them to find out why that was the case and apparently there were road closures stopping...them from coming here so I had a look at the journey from them to us and there was nothing stopping them at all. After having a look I phoned them back to tell them that there isn't an issue with road closures but I got told that they were then busy. We said we were happy to wait so he said to give a call back in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later we phoned them back and oh what an absolute shocker, another excuse.... this time even worse! We got told that the "drivers couldn't be bothered" which is why the order was originally cancelled. I'm honestly appalled at the lack of customer service this place has to offer. I'd suggest not wasting your time here. After all of this, it's too late for me to eat something so thank you guys, really appreciate it :)More
We've eaten here and the food was fantastic weve also had a delivery again fab food and the staff are alwsys very polite anf helpful

We went to this restaurant last week as a mid-week treat. I have been here once before a few years ago when it was popular, oh how things have changed as were the only diners in here. When we entered, we were greeted by the...takeaway delivery team and they seemed busy, that probably why the main course took a while, as they share the same kitchen. The starters arrived quickly (too quickly) but there was such a gap between the starters and the main course. The sole waiter was friendly enough but the whole place lacked atmosphere, no music, no other diners, just the chef popping his head out from behind the kitchen door now and again. Whilst the food was good, the place clean and the cost OK, it lacked the atmosphere that you expect when you go out to eat. I would eat there again, but only as a takeaway, there’s more atmosphere at home with the cats and a tray in front of the T.V.More

Over all I’d call this place bang average. It’s not going to be making waves with any raving reviews, but if in a pinch, you can get away with it. There was 6 of us eating and it came to £55 roughly, so for a...Indian takeaway it wasn’t badly priced and the portion size was more than adequate, but that’s probably got something to do with the fact that your only going to want one serving.More

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Service awful. Went for our anniversary with two small children. Waited over an hour for our meals from ordering. Waited ages for drinks. Mains actually arrived before my starter. Got told that staff haven’t turned...up. As I pointed out we were still paying same amount for meal whether staff had turned up or not. Waited ages again for bill. Only handful of other diners there. By this point has been there over two hours with by now two tired children. We went out early (6:15 pm) to avoid this scenario. Card machine then not working. When mentioned the appalling service waiter said he knew the service was bad and took off £1:50 ! Gee thanks. Won’t ever return. Actually spoilt our anniversary.More
