Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice location, a little bit too rustic, but acceptably so. Personnel is very friendly and efficient. The menu is not too vast, nor too little, only problem: not a single vegetarian dish in the main course, but I could nontheless manage to eat my fill....The dishes were delicious and so was the the wine.More

Not too far from our hotel, and recommended by our proprietors, the Trattoria was a good choice for a week day evening. While quiet, due to the impending winter season, service was good and attentive. After the mixed Salumi platter as an antipasto, we had...white truffle dishes (tagliolini and fried eggs) which were excellent, followed by mixed grilled meats and grilled lamb. All of this was accompanied by a 2009 Barolo. The house made tiramisu was good; the oldest grappa was a 12-year-old barricata. The total for two people was €165. Overall, a very good dining experience.More

We are pilgrim and going to Rome on foot. So we have big backpacks and maybe we look not very payable person. But when the first word from waiter is not simple “hello”, but humiliating phrase with ironic face “it is not a bar, it...is restaurant, what you want?”. The only thing that can do it is turn round and continue your way. So we don’t eat here. So, please, never judge the people for their clothes. And respect the pilgrims!!More

We stopped here for a light lunch - the truffle spaghetti was tremendous. Fantastic bowl of pasta in its own right, and then the waiter comes round with a fresh truffle and shaves ample amounts all over. €12, fantastic

This is one of the old time goodies in the region. Old style but very decent. Great primi, good secondi and very reasonable priced

I return there on every visit to Fidenza. The food and service are always excellent. The incredible selection of appetizers could already be a full meal. This time i had a filet al balsamico. Cooked to perfection and for sure one of the better steaks...i have ever tasted. A great selection of good and well priced wines makes this restaurant always an excellent choice. We will be back!!More

I had read about this restaurant before we set out for Italy and was anxious to try it, so we asked directions from the hotel. Be warned, the roads around Tabiano are long and winding and it is quite easy to get lost, so we...did arrive a little late, having taken several wrong turns. However, it was well worth the wait. This is a very homely-looking restaurant and not huge so I would certainly advise prior booking. We ordered a mixture of antipasti - meats, cheeses and pickled vegetables - all excellent, especially the vegetables. For mains I ordered tagliatelle with masses of fresh black truffle which was gorgeous. Number one son opted for the mixed grill (sausage, pork chop and pork ribs) which defeated him (not easy) but he enjoyed it.His girlfrienfd had a fresh pasta dish (I forget what) which went down well. Number two son had steak which he pronounced to be the 'second best ever' (Florence still holds the crown). I think I decided against dessert on the grounds of being 'stuffed', but the boys had lemon sorbet - beware: in this region Lemon sorbet consists of ice, lemon and vodka and you drink it through a straw! Both boys enjoyed these. Service was polite and unhurried and the meal was excellent value - far better than I had anticipated. Either we were lucky or most of the restaurants in this part of the world are of an excellent standard.More

I've eaten in this restaurant about ten times over the last year and every meal has been a revelation. Fresh pasta, wonderful local dishes of all kinds, meats prepared according to the highest standards by friendly staff who care about what they offer. The best.

The place is not too far away from Fidenza and offers good food from the area, from the typical Culatello to the home made pasta. We had some nice pasta dish and the grilled meat was really tasty. The wine (Malvasia9 fruity and sparkling was...really excellent. The dessert pretty good, we took a panna cotta with fruit and one with chocolate. Definitely choose the fruit one.More
