We stopped here 3 times in a week for a bacon & egg roll & coffees. It enjoys a great location right in the beach and has some outdoor seating which were a real sun trap. Simple menu - traditional breakfast favourites and good looking...range of cakes - all served with a smile and not overpriced. A little gem.More

really didn;t like the place much. Felt crowded and didn;t find the food or drink particularly appetising.

Lovely fresh crab sandwich, well presented on the plate. This cafe has tables inside and on two terraces, one in the sun and one with some shade, so it was good to find one that suited on a sunny day. Lovely service too.

We stopped here for breakfast one morning. It was a gloriously sunny day, it felt like we were in Spain. The views are amazing. The breakfasts and coffee we had were excellent, reasonably priced too.

Fresh food, should stay open longer Fantastic views, pleasant staff, crab sandwich’s a delight. Do not confuse with the awful Wits End cafe in Sandsend. This is the one to eat at for snacks. Will be back

Stopped off at this lovely cafe after our walk along the beach from Whitby harbour. We sat at the back of the cafe behind glass screens, where there was comfy sofas and rattan furniture. We only had coffees as it was mid morning but one...of the party had a tuna sandwich, served with a side salad and crisps which they really enjoyed. It was a lovely sunny day and sitting there overlooking the sea was really relaxing. Definitely worth a visit 😊More

Three adults and two children arrived near to closing after a walk from Whitby along the beach. This is normally a bad time to see a cafe with tired staff and careless customers but this was not the case. We ordered drinks from an alert...staff member. She insisted on taking the tray to table which was very much appreciated from a weary person of over three score years and ten. She even went to the trouble of fetching a drink not immediately available at the counter. The table had been cleaned before our arrival. The whole place was very clean and staff were clearing and cleaning tables when patrons left.No insect life present. All staff were clean and well turned out in uniforms. They were working constantly to provide the excellent experience. The view from the cafe is superb through clean windows. Although we didn’t eat the food coming out looked appetising. A customer ordered hot food near to closing and was met favourably with good grace. That’s not the end of the story. During our visit a medical incident involving a customer took place. I will not go into detail other than to say the team of young staff brought the incident to conclusion impressively. This comes from one who has dealt with public incidents for over 40 years and my daughter who has been a nurse for over 23 years. Our experience spans several visits to Europe, Africa, India, Australia, USA and Canada. Our feelings were brought to the attention of the manager and he thanked us for our observation. This review is completely unsolicited.More

The best view in the town overlooking the beach contained in glass protected screens. However, our choice of meal was a disaster with both of us opting for the prawn salad at £9.50 a throw. This comprised HALF a tomato cut in two. A couple...of pencil thin long slivers of cucumber, red onion and a plethora of lettuce leaves and if you are lucky you might get one or two of these still with the label on and a minuscule paper container of Marie Rose sauce that barely coated a quarter of the prawns. Go for the view by all means but be prepared to be ripped off by the cost and quality of the food.More

All depends on the weather, winter is usually long weekends only but if it is very sunny like is has been recently, they are open everyday
