Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Found this place in Brit Stops (offers free stays in the car park overnight) so we phoned in advance and checked we could stay and have drinks/meals. Very helpful and provided info on best place to park. So friendly and meal was lovely. Not over...priced. Place was spotless. Will definitely visit again. Lovely place. Stayed overnight, everything was excellent. Clean comfortable room with extra touches, a full bottle of fresh milk, no inadequate little pots of sterilised gunk, Tassimo machine and plenty of pods for it. I ate delicious, beautifully cooked fillet steak at an amazingly good price. Would...highly recommend.More

I stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer! Set near Stone Henge in a stunning countryside village, 15 mins from centre of Salisbury, this exquisite pub offers excellent customer service, great food, super comfortable beds and great attention to detail. I asked...for a ground floor room and was delighted with the furnishings, fantastic wet room shower, loved the coffee machine and the hand alarm clock which doubles as a phone charger. Food is really reasonably priced and I loved the fresh milk in the fridge too. I will definitely stay again if I’m in the area.More

Very comfortable stay for a couple of nights while we waiting to move in to our new house. The rooms were clean and the pub was cosy and inviting. Shame that more people don't take the trouble to drop in. The food cooked fresh by...the talented owner, was fantastic and good value too. Drinks were reasonable and the beer well kept. 100pct recommend!More

Just comes back from a 2 night stay at the Bell Inn. We stayed in Room 4 which was just outside. Beautiful room, very well decorated and clean and tidy. Only moan i had was that the lead for the kettle was not long enough...and had to bring the base out and put on the floor. Alarm clock with the charger was fantastic. As we were visiting family unfortunately we did not eat here but the food did look appetising. Outside was a little garden area with heat. Recommend the Bell Inn.More

Hosts were exceptionally friendly, *. food was excellent, freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. No sticky tables, *. *. toilets were absolutely spotlessly clean A very...welcoming stop which I will use again and again when in the area. My wife and I booked a table at very short notice at this historic Inn and were given a very pleasant welcome reception by Nicky who immediately offered us a well-situated reserved table and even a tasty treat for our dog Millie. We remembered our...previous Sunday lunch and were equally delighted at the generous portions, including an amazing variety of freshly cooked vegetables. For pudding, we enjoyed David's homemade rhubarb and strawberry crumble with custard and left feeling fully satisfied. Will we be back? We certainly hope so in the very near future!More
