The Fur and Feather is Woodforde’s very own brewery tap, where the beer travels metres, not miles. We are within the brewery grounds inside you will find a wide range of our core and seasonal beers on draught and sensational food, which changes with the seasons. We are open for teas and coffees from 10am Monday to Saturday and serving good, home cooked food from 12:00 daily. Food is served all day and there is a brewery shop for take-home packaged beer, brewery merchandise and gifts. Our popular brewery tours require an advanced booking. This can be done online.

We ate here Saturday and Sunday last week. Food was tasty, roast dinner was lovely and extra gravy was provided.
Accommodated our dog and provided water for him.
Will return again when we visit Norfolk again in the summer :)
Lovely Brewery trip followed by excellent meal at Fur and Feather (11am to 3pm all in on a Saturday). Steve our guide was excellent and full of great anecdotes. Meal was lovely within a lovely restaurant with buzzy ambience. If you want a reasonably priced...meal this is the place. Good luck.More
I have to say I was really looking forward to eating here as had heard such good reviews and to be honest I was a little disappointed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. However there were a number of dishes that were unavailable on...the menu so it left us with very little choice. Finally picked a starter of mozzarella and tomato only to be told there was no mozzarella either. Just a tomato then!
Four out of our seven ordered steak and all of them were disappointed. They all said the flavour was lovely but that it was the chewiest meat they had ever eaten and all struggled to cut into it, let alone finish. I had the fish and it was delicious I have to say.
It’s definitely a nice pub with a nice atmosphere but I probably wouldn’t come back if I was honest.More
We arrived for our lunch and were received with a great welcome and sat in a lovely area, nicely decorated with a super xmas tree. Vegetarian nut ///roast was delicious, followed by a rather delightful sticky toffee pudding. The pork belly roast was equally a...gastronomic delight (so my husband said). Drinks were the superb Woodforde's ale and cider, followed by freshly made rather nice coffees. Service was friendly and you were made to feel like valued customers. We cannot wait for a return visit. Was slightly off the main road, make sure you get directions to make it easier to find..More
Booked a table for lunch for six of us via the website. Very quick & simple. Got a perfect round table near the Xmas tree and their (relatively) new extension. Great selection of Woodforde’s beers. Our attentive waiter Evan - who looked very seasonal in...his Woodforde’s brewery Xmas jumper - suggested a beer lighter: a third of a pint of three different beers, so you could sample a selection if you couldn’t make up your mind what to order. We told him the type of beers we liked - real ales, but not heavy or dark ones - and left the selection to him. He didn’t disappoint - they were all great! Food ordered was sea bream fillet, Guinea fowl Brest and good old fish & chips. All arrived hot and the bream was cooked to perfection. The Guinea fowl and battered haddock were eaten very enthusiastically. Desserts followed which maintained the standards of the main meals. All in all a lovely experience in a pub serving a good range of quality beers matched by the menu options. In fact the only thing we found to complain about was the choice of music!! We didn’t recognise any of it!! But there again, we are all in our 60’s & 70’s!! 😁 We would definitely recommend and will certainly go back.More
Very disappointed today as was told on arrival that there would be over an hour to wait for the roasts to be served… I was also told I should of been contacted about this (I wasn’t) it was a special family get together… & the...staff didn’t seem to give a dam…the food we had from the menu wasn’t that great.. I definitely will not be returning or recommending.More
Had a wonderful time here for a meal with friends , service very good and accommodating for any allergies. Great selection of ales & offer 3 x 1/3 pint so you can try the various ales on tap. Good menu choice & facilities (even a...shop to buy ale!)
Would visit again as very pleasant!More
This pub was a really nice find - about a 16 minute walk from our mooring at Salhouse Broad (take torches). Really pretty place, and my husband was very excited to realise that it was the same brewery as he got his homebrew kits from!...The service was a little slow, we waited quite a while before someone came and took our drinks order but I think this was just because they were having an issue with the table next to us. The food was good, and there was a nice brewery shop to look round too.More
Booked for Sunday lunch, greeted by young chap at bar who was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the beer which pleased my husband who has a big interest.
Our order was gammon with duck eggs (very good), Haloumi Burger (also lovely), however the roasts 1...x beef and 1 x chicken were lacking a bit on the presentation front. I have never seen very large carrots served whole before, the roast potatoes were also huge and quite off putting on the plate.
Service was fine but at one point a brewery tour finished and a group of about 10 men piled in on a large table next to us and the noise levels then became deafening and we couldn't hear each other speak.
So a bit of a mixed bag really - we've been many times before when visiting the area but, for the price (which isn't cheap), I'm not sure it's quite what it used to be.More
Visited the brewery shop to purchase some beers for recreational purposes and decided to return for Sunday dinner the next day.
The food was amazing and the beer, wherry and reedshooter being superb.
The bar staff/serving staff were all excellent could not fault them at...all.
We will definitely return here on another Norfolk holiday no doubt about it.
