Beautiful old pub, lovely village, sunny early spring day. Everything set up for a perfect Sunday lunch. But, for some reason, it just wasn't perfect. There was a blandness about the roast beef that meant one was always looking for more mustard, horse radish or salt. The Yorkshire Pudding was a stand out however. The Lemon Posset is highly recommended... More

Love this little Inn it is what one thinks of when you picture a village inn. Very quaint with the friendliest staff and locals. Food is excellant. Whilst on holiday we spotted the posters for the folk night there so booked in for that following our meal, what a great night we had. Music was a mixture of folk from... More

A spleindid country pub with a good atmosphere and a nice welcome. There isn't a wide choice of food on the menu, but the food is good. Reommended.

Four of us went for a special birthday dinner. Place was quiet when we arrived, but warm, cosy and nice atmosphere. Service was really good, friendly young lady serving food and working behind bar.The food was freshly cooked, well presented and very tasty. Totally recommend Roseland inn

We had really great midweek lunch at this great little pub. I had breast of pheasant followed by apple and sultana crumble. Both were delicious. Not cheap but good value. The ambience of the place is restful and warm. The service was unobtrusive and attentive. Often I have found Cornish pubs overpriced and poor quality. This is a great exception... More

Nestled in the Cornish countryside this pub is a gem! Low ceilings, exposed beams and a dropped bar give the place character and a warm feel. Polite and friendly staff ensure you have everything you need to have an enjoyable evening and the food is delicious. Having eaten here twice with my partner, once for a Sunday lunch and the... Have often driven past this place and heard that the food was good. Booked a table and arrived a few minutes early. The reserved table had been taken over by other people and so we were given another. The noise level started to grow and a number of other people gathered round the original table. We struggled with our own... More

As soon as you open the door you realise that this place is something special. Full of people, both locals and "comers in" all enjoying the food and drink. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine to start with and these gave a hint of the quality of the offerings. We decided to share a plate of whitebait, and... More
