Room, bar, restaurant, bonhomie absolutely 1st Class. Add all of this to an unbeatable location for the most stunning scenery imaginable, and you have all of the elements for a highly memorable short or long break. NB You`ll not have a better breakfast anywhere!!

Doggie beds, water bowls and snacks, a dog heaven! For the rest of us, good choice of ales - well kept. Food prices are 'normal' Yorkshire, great value, I can recommend the portion sizes, be sure you understand the platters are for sharing. It is a lovely spot nestling in the Dales

Lovely traditional pub where you and your dog are made to feel very welcome. The food is excellent and big portions. My partner had pork pie as a "nibble" and it was huge. We had a grazing platter to share and again that was a good size. If your in the area then give this place a try, you won't... More

If you like to travel with your dog and want to get away in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside you really should try the Lister Arms. We stayed for one night and had a lovely room for two plus our dog. We were all made to feel very welcome - biscuits for us and the dog and a serving of sausages... More

Called in for afternoon tea/coffee on a cold wet day. Ideally placed in centre of village. Warm welcome. Good tea, coffee and cake. Beer selection looked good. Welcoming and attentive staff.

After previously eating at the neighbouring Buck Inn, we can safely say The Lister Arms is the star of the village. The atmosphere is cosy, particularly with the fires going. The food is tasty and generous and the wine and beer are great. Perfect place for a pub lunch after visiting Malham Cove or Gordale Scar.

The fact that the Lister Arms was full on a Monday in November shows that this is no run of the mill inn. We stayed for a couple of nights with our dog and found the place so warm, friendly and welcoming and in such a great location that I wish we could have stayed longer. Our standard room was... More

I chose a sharing platter starter as a main course. It was huge but really tasty. I would highly recommend the food. Bar service is a little slow though.

My wife and myself eat here on the evening we arrived in Malham A lovely old coaching inn with open fires and several rooms. The staff at the bar, a blonde lady and a bald man were extremely friendly, the place has an exceptional selection of Ales at the bar, and I sampled the Nutty Black and the Remember Remember...
