There are a few eateries at Port Sunlight but this was recommended to us and was excellent. Not as busy as the museum restaurant which does more hot food as this only does soup, light lunches & sandwiches etc. The cake portions were huge and the sandwiches really full. I would suggest the Three Cheeses Toasted Sandwich. The staff are... More

Coffee and cake for elevenses and fish and chips for late lunch. Superb gallery visit in between. A great way to spend Bank holiday Sunday. The gallery is a gem.

40 minute wait for average food but abrupt and largely poor service, including the manager who was defensive and disinterested. Lovely surroundings and great potential but sadly lacking.

As I waited to be served patiently in line the lady behind the counter was extremely patronising and rude, no only to me but to other members of the public, i was... More

I was part of an organized group visiting the brilliant art gallery. The menu in the cafe is a bit limited but absolutely fine. We chose filled baked potatoes and some friends had the sandwiches - I reckon they made the better choice - although the potatoes were Ok the sandwiches looked really good and I will definitely have a... Maybe it was a bad choice and the other offerings would have been lovely.....but....the homemade scone at this cafe was, quite simply, the worst I have ever tasted. Dry, soggy, stale, heavy with about 4 raisins in the entire scone. Had I not been pushed for time I would have complained and taken it back. I left it uneaten -... More
