Great food in delightful surroundings, served by cheerful and friendly staff. At dinner the Ham hock terrine starter was perfect, followed by succulent chicken and rounded off vwith a decadent sticky toffee pudding.

Staying at hotel on DBB. Hotel restaurants are often generic & bland. This was far from it, lovely decor, spacious layout. Menu not vast but good choice. Mackerel & tomato tart, very tasty & different. I don’t normally order chicken but glad I did, very...More

The breakfast was £15.95 each. Wow, never paid that much for breakfast even at a luxury boutique hotel before. Staff were slow to serve, and even slower to clean up tables. Floors were not cleaned up either. Needs more attention to detail in this wannabee...More

We had dinner and breakfast in Chaloners when staying at Gisborough Hall. Dinner was very good. A minor quibble is that the service, though friendly, was perhaps a little too attentive. Breakfast was, if anything, even better with a good choice from the buffet and...More

Had been staying in the hotel for work and managed to meet up with a family member. We ate in Chaloner's and the food wasn't on par with the service or expectations. The presentation of the plate, while very pretty was a little more highbrow...More
