Friendly owner and great place to revive ones self after partaking of the local walks. It's a cafe with nice food and a friendly owner. It also sells books and some local tourist type goods.

Stopped for a late lunch after driving up to the beautiful location from Edinburgh. We both really enjoyed our paninis and got drinks but given what we ordered and the fact that the cafe was practically empty, the food seemed to take some time to...More

Thank you for taking the time to send this review I do not remember your visit personally, I do wish you had questioned your bill at the time. If you had 1 hot drink & 1 Panini each the bill should only have come to...More

Stopped off at the Riverbank Cafe after a long drive for a quick lunch. The friendly staff welcomed us and tolerated our very noisy children with much warmth. The food itself was ok, and very pricey for what it is. The location and cafe interior...More

I think they are open 10am-5pm on a Sunday. I don't think you have to reserve a table. It might be worth giving them a call beforehand though, to definitely check they will be open. Hope this helps.
