If you want a great meal, watch where the locals eat. This restaurant is always busy and sometimes difficult to find a table. I love the ravioli with ragu and the lemon chicken.

We arrived right at the time when the kitchen was about to close for the mid-day rest. But yet they allowed us to select from a slightly restricted menu (there was still enough to choose from). The Ribollita was heavenly, and so was the veal...More
We visited the Fortezza at Radicofanj on a Saturday and decided to find somewhere for lunch in the village. We'd seen La Grotta on TA and decided that we might as well give it a try. There were lots of Italians there - perhaps not...More
We arrived after walking 20km from our last stop on the via Francigena. We were starving and stopped a lady walking her dog to ask for guidance on where to eat. She offered this as one of two possible places and were hooked when she...More
This restaurant is my favorite restaurant in the area. Situated in a very elegant setting, this restaurant offers a variety of foods at a very high quality. We love the tomato soup, steaks and pasta dishes. The wine list is very large and offers a...More
Typical Tuscan cuisine adopted to local tastes. Home cooked meals. Homemade pasta. Portions are gargantuan. If you are a couple and plan on getting 2 second courses, SHARE a primo. The pasta is good but they give you a platter! The deer and rabbit are...More

Mouth-watering appetizers of the finest prosciutto and cheese, plump crab-stuffed seafood crepe and airy/light breaded calamari. While 3 of us chose delicious pasta with seafood entrees, the chocolate fettuccine with venison ragu was outrageously creative and rich. Excellent and attentive service. Many interesting choices from...More
When you enter a restaurant and there are the local hunters having a lunch it means that the place serves good food! Many options on the menu both for vegetarians and meat lovers. We went for some soups as starters, needless to say they were...More
