Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ate here on a Friday evening. Friendly staff and pub was warm. We both had the Pizza made to order and a good size and good value. They were on a specials board as i think they are a new addition.

Popped in for lunch ,it was a lovely lunch really enjoyed it. Even better we took our 3 dogs in and they were given a turkey lunch by Helen , who sat on the floor with them feeding them and making a big fuss of...them . This is the most dog friendly pub I have been in, also bowls everywhere for water for them . They always give everyone a really warm welcome, people, dogs, and horses included. The staff are lovely and friendly, and make you feel right at home and can't do enough to help . It's great to have a lovely old fashioned friendly pub like this to go to .😊More

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a great review. We really do love our fur friends and thank them for bringing their owners in to drink and dine with us - particularly when there is left over turkey from Sunday dinners 😁

Just wanted to counter a recent review which said this pub is not dog friendly. It most definitely is! Helen and her staff make a great fuss of any dogs that bring their owners to the pub. They are very welcome in the bar area,...there is always a water bowl available and the jar of dog treats in the bar is free to help yourself. Do not put off coming because you have a dog - you and your furry friend will be made very welcome!More

The Bridge Inn is one of the most dog friendly pubs around and has been for years. Dogs love the bar where they are spoilt with treats, water and lots of fuss from the staff. I’ll put this on Trip Advisor .🐾

I live in Brewood and use The Bridge often. It is VERY dog friendly so I am unsure about the review disputing this. In fact, there are often more dogs than drinkers in the bar area 😂 I can only assume they have their Bridge...pubs mixed up and will remove their review when they realise their mistake. Please visit with or without a 4 legged friend for lovely, friendly hospitality 🐶More

Lovely canal side setting , very large dog friendly room as well as bar area where food is also served. Water bowls and doggie treats for the fur-friends , even cook a sausage for them. Reasonably priced food, the steak night special is very good...value and is lovely . We visit regularly for a pit stop canal walk.More

Visiting from NZ and on a canal boat we really enjoyed our night at the Bridge Inn. We were there for steak night and as I have Coeliac disease and have to be gluten free this was the perfect choice. They only use one fryer...for chips so they are always gf and they were the best chips I have EVER had - crunchy, fluffy and hot. Service was great and the manager Helen could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Thoroughly recommend Bridge Inn especially if you need to eat gf. But of course the drinks were good too 🙂More

Not really sure, I believe it was instigated by the then Public House owners and a few Canal Barge "tennants" for their use....you can always pop into the Bridge and ask the question if there is a cost to use it.
