This is the place to have a business meeting or take the girl friend .The age of the property and decor are first class . However the food is acceptable but not top class

The staff area just a total credit to this place. They are all so friendly, welcoming and nothing is too much effort. The food is nice, nothing too special- but the service just fab. Loved all the Christmas hat's on the tables.

A gaggle of friends, my wife, our toddler and I descended on the duke of wellington this afternoon for a late lunch. First things first, staff are an absolute delight; charming, friendly, helpful and apologetic when things don’t go as smoothly as planned. The drinks...More

We had a lovely meal there a few days ago. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient (but we didn't feel rushed), the place had a good 'feel', and we thought there was a really good selection of food and wine to choose from. On...More

From start to finish, I could not fault this pub restaurant! A warm welcome to this pleasantly decorated pub with enticing open fires, started the evening well. Specials were offered and were appealing but we chose from the main menu. A shared starter of chorizo...More

The Duke of Wellington in East Horsley is an ancient country pub in Surrey with a striking appearance thanks to Lord Lovelace’s Victorian passion for decorative brickwork. It sits at the top of Ockham Road South by the green – ready to entertain friends and strangers alike with warm hospitality. We serve great gastropub food. We are passionate about service and the provenance of the food and drink. Our chef and the team cooks fresh food from scratch. We serve specials every day. To see our latest food offer, have a look at our website. It's a great privilege to be looking after this masterpiece of a pub for the next 10 or 25 years. The Duke is now owned by 4 partners from Peach Pubs. We aren't a part of a chain, we are successful and so we do have a group of 18 pubs. We are enthusiastic individuals attempting to make a series of great pubs work again. Jo designed the Duke new look. Jordan is there most days looking after the guests. Peach is fairly special. Most years, we win Best Employer in Hospitality industry because we love it, and we love our team. We really hope you come and enjoy the Duke of Wellington sometime soon.
