This restaurant is a step above most other bar/restaurants in Arroyo. Food is top class always, Always cooked with extra flair and flavour. Some dishes can be really imaginative. Bacalao is a speciality of the house as is pork cooked in various forms. Proprietors are very friendly as are waiters.

On our a short break to Benalmadena we were keen to try restaurants in each of the 3 areas, the modern marina, Pueblo and the town centre itself, so started with Alborada partly because we could book on line but mainly because it looked lovely and traditional. We weren't disappointed and had both a great meal, fab wine (a white... More

Although this restaurant is very close to where I live, I only ate there for the first time recently, despite many recommendations over the years from friends, I always seemed to forget its existence. This was my loss as the food and service are excellent. I ordered A la Carte and only had a main course, (due to a late... More

This restaurant has been run by the same family for years. It has a classy, old-fashioned laid-back atmosphere. It takes one back to a time when you could spend a couple of hours over a lazy lunch with no-one rushing you. The service is impeccable and the food authentic Spanish. Excellent for family get-togethers or business meetings.

Called in on our way home after a trip away for lunch. Sorry to say as the food was a bit boring. The menu looks tired and the owner for all his pics and awards has still after many visits never said hello to us. Food is very average and the potato chips that are served make McDonalds chips look... More

We had dinner here this past weekend. We were a party of six and we shared several dishes before our main courses. The ham and the spinach croquettes were tasty, the salad with goat cheese and dried fruits too. My favorite was the tortillitas de bacalao with a drizzle of cane syrup. I then had the stuffed Iberian pork tenderloin... More

Iberian style steak, seafood soup, salad, sirilion with mushrooms - all dishes were very tasty. Everything arrived very fast. Service was really good.

We usually go once a month, because in addition to the normal menu dishes, usually make special, as this July special with Rice summer. We eat shelfish rice and "ajoblanco" (cold soup of almonds and cantaloupe with grappes). Incredible :D
