It's located right next to Chateau Beynac. We stopped for ice cream after our tour and enjoyed the view..

After the tour of the chateau I had to have a crepe. Got the Nutella with glacé vanille and it was terrific! My coffee was fabulous too. Nice place.
We stopped here for lunch after visiting the castle. Service was efficient but not rushed. Food was great especially the goats cheese salad. It was more expensive than other places probably due to its location. The terrace provides excellent views which made the whole experience...More
Long drive to find Beynac, and then a parking space! Short hike up the hill to find pleasant spot for lunch. We chose the omelette campagnarde with salad and frites. Pretty decent service considering how busy it was. Tasty and nicely presented. Good value. Friendly...More
Visited today and selected as it was close to the castle during the rain. Good choice, we had the omelette and it was great value. Good service and good range of food and drinks.

Between Le Donjon and La Taverne des Remparts, La Taverne has a better view of the Chateau. The food was acceptable, not inspiring, the service was distracted. The experience was not bad, but we decided not to return.

This is a restaurant very close to the castle's gate. Happily, the kitchen was still working although we came very late (according to French uses). We enjoyed several HUGE beef burgers and tartar, all of them were awesome. You may enjoy the terrace views to...More
A stone's throw from the chateau, it would be easy to think that it would take advantage of its captive audience. Not at all. Service was prompt and polite and the food was good; lots of local produce used which is always a bonus.
