Visited with my other half while on holiday on the island. Opted for the menu du jour. oysters and mussels to start, fish of the day served with rice as a plat and cheese for dessert. All dishes where perfectly prepared and the serving was excellent. The restaurant had a wonderful feel about it and the view of the port... More

Enjoyed a pleasant tasty lunch with wine. The restaurant was busy and it was near the end of service but hey were happy to accommodate us and our well behaved dog.Average priced food, tasty, well prepared, good service.

A very reasonable meal with friends, I was looking forwards to a stunning seafood meal but left feeling a bit disappointed. On the good side the staff were great, very busy but still made everything work well and they smiled whilst doing it! My feeling is that the food was not as freshly prepared as it could have been. I... More

Nice staff working very hard. Extensive seafood menu. Has a decent position overlooking the harbour. It is better then I am making it sound, you won't be disappointed. The food is fresh, the plate of grilled seafood and fish excellent a steak was a bit nasty but hey ho, we weren't expecting The Fat Duck

Starters mixed, mussels and prawns very good, fish soup bland. Mains mixed Confit ducks were ok, salmon lovely, skate wing bland. Deserts poor, floating islands ok, crime caramel Asda smart price, cheeses mediocre. Service ok, nice location. Overall ok but nothing special.

Have visited with my family over the bank holiday weekend and had selected on recommendation . We arrived at about 2pm and the place was very full. There was not attention to detail from start to finish, we had 2 fish soups but one of them was lukewarm and needed re-heating but both lacked taste, had some oysters and they... More

We were staying in the hotel and had one evening meal on the terrace - with a wonderful view of the working harbour. Sadly the view was the best thing. My sole was grey and rubbery, and small. My husbands fruit de mer was nice, but the crab, the main part, had been forgotten!! Nothing was taken off the bill... More

Staying in La Cotiniere for the first 2 week of September this year, I was eager to try all the local restaurants and bars whilst there. Early evening, my partner and I were pleased to get one of the last 2 tables on the terrace (a French couple followed us in). The mature guy who seated us was polite and... More

A delicious seafood evening in an efficiently run family restaurant, overlooking the bustling fishing port. Great value for a great evening.
