Very cold evening when we went but the welcome was warm and it had an open fire for us to sit next to. Food was very good particularly the curry and the lemon pie for afters! Nice local beer served in pleasant company.

Lovely lunch; burgers, sausages and sandwiches were all great! Beer was also recommended. Also got a great view of the steam engine leave the station, as we got the last of the autumn sun and were sat outside

We ate in this lovely local pub close to our B&B on both nights of our 2 night stay. Food was very good, so was the Beer and the Landlord was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed talking to the very friendly locals.
