Lovely little beachfront spot offering counter food and ala carte menu options. Friendly service and delicious, fresh food with great cocktails to boot! Great sized portions so good value for money. Nice little spot to refresh, relax and watch all the beach action.

We had a glutenfree burger and potato wedges with sour cream. Totally delicious and huge! We shared a burger and wedges. The gluten free bun is yummy. I loved the food and view.

Went to Kai 2 of 3 nights in Kaiteriteri. Friendly service, quality food and fantastic location across from the beach.

After three weeks on NZ, my wife who is a vegetarian declares the aubergine option the best meal since we arrived. Apart from the food, the lovely setting looking out at the sea made for an enjoyable experience.
