We visited in late October during the half term. It was sunny, and I must admit I was surprised by how busy it was in New Quay. The restaurant is located overlooking the harbour. The tables are fairly tightly packed in. We had just a coffee and cake, and service was not the fastest and the food offered is perhaps... More

Excellent coffee and an excellent location. The loos clean and the service very good. The only let down was the milkshake which was very synthetic. Would go again for the view and the service but avoid the milkshake.

Nice location. Wish I could be positive here. But I'm honest. Sorry, but we visited and it wasn't even half full. My coffee was poured and left on the side and on being served a time later was warm at best. Due to the chaos and owner telling her staff to work quicker I didn't complain. I wasn't planning on... Ordered Welsh rarebit and served mustard on toast. Very disappointing. Staff not fussed. Shame as a nice location.

After a wet and windy stroll around, we decided to stop off for coffee. Sat by the window and I could see the dolphins playing in the sea. Lovely coffee and milkshakes, reasonably priced. Staff were very attentive and drinks came within 5 minutes. Told my partner to put £30 with the staff and leave me here to watch the... More

On a recent visit to New Quay we found the Old Watch House. The menu was varied with great vegetarian choices. Decided to try the homemade quiche and was not disappointed. Wonderful service with friendly staff. Would have tried out their range of puddings or cakes ..... but was too full from the main course. Also worth noting that the... More
