Best chips I have had in an age. The take away boxes make it very easy to eat on the beach as well! Highly recommend this little chippy

We love The Lime Crab, and are fortunate to live just down the coast from them. We have had the calamari, fish and chips, scallops and on my last visit chilli, and it was good, lots of flavour and heat. If the dolphins are in...More

Have always been tempted to eat here but has been closed. Today it was open!! Excellent menu choices but very pricey but decided mackerel goujons sounded delicious and would obviously be fresh - wrong, they were frozen out of an Iceland looking bag!!! Very disappointing....More

Usually our first stop on arrival in New Quay after dropping off our cases at our accommodation. I can't vouch for anything other than the chips, but they alone are worth the visit. The portion sizes are very generous and the service always comes with...More

OK chips and fish, not the best but not greasy. Very expensive and a shame to have to use such packaging, although its recycled seems overkill for fish and chips!

Best fish and chips that we've had, with fresh cod and a very light batter. The tartare sauce and curry sauce were great too.

Eaten here several times! Never disappointed. A very popular shop and service can be slow on occasion due to its popularity. The food is always worth the wait.

We live relatively locally but as is the norm, you don't tend to visit places on your doorstep. However since discovering The Lime Crab, we now visit New Quay regularly. Hubby likes the traditional cod, I like the battered prawns, there's fish bites (cod) and...More

Being in the harbour we fancied fish and chips however fried calamari sounded even better! Unfortunately, frozen calamari rings came straight out of the bag. They were very tasty but not fresh.
