The Woodman Inn is a family run pub in the peaceful village of Burneston near Bedale. A Freehouse since June 2014. Inside is a cosy bar, a 23 cover restaurant and 3 letting bedrooms. Serving good local ales, fine wines and quality food using locally sourced produce. This is a very welcoming place to everyone who walks through the door. Also welcoming your four legged friends into our bar area!

Lovely little pub. Food is great and the rooms are super clean. Staff are really friendly and nothing seems to be a problem . They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is right. Will return again 👍

We had our Christmas party here last year and it was good.This year there was 48 of us and it was even better the buffy & staff was excellent we will be back next year.

Stayed overnight after visiting nearby Ripon, great room, superb menu and wine list and the staff are just phenomenal. Can't fault a thing and will definitely stay again when in the area.

It is a normal hairdryer which you switch on and select the settings, it is not one of the type you have to hold the button down or it stops

I didn't see any dogs when we were there but it is a rural location and village pubs usually do. The owner is very friendly so give then a call
