A lovely Tea Room with plenty of choices. On our last visit this month, my husband and I both had a cooked breakfast and really enjoyed it. I had the Vegetarian meal and I told the lady serving that it was one of the best...breakfasts I had enjoyed for a very long time. We go to Whitby regularly and always go to Goathland and always go to this Tea Room for our meals. It's a pleasure to go there and we highly recommend it.More

We had lunch here as a family. All simple stuff such as jacket potatoes, sandwiches etc but very nicely done. We all got some salad and coleslaw which was very welcome. There was a section adjacent to the gift shop where dogs were welcome and...our cockapoo even got a couple of biscuits from the server. The service was very good. Very friendly and welcoming. The gift shop is definitely worth a look too and the homemade fudge..... Oh my. Delicious! We enjoyed it so we even went back for breakfast a few days later. The dog was a bit poorly and they even took my husband's breakfast and tea out to him as he sat in the car with her. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The cakes looked really good!More

We visited here with our 2 dogs whilst on holiday and it was a lovely place with lovely staff. We wanted to sit in the garden as our dogs are a bit mischievous where food is concerned, the staff said it was not really set...up for use as it was a bit muddy but said it was no problem if we didn't mind. I am gluten free and was delighted to see a wide range of gf food on offer. I had a yorkshire cream tea which was delicious and my partner a caramel tiffin. Well worth a visit and a lovely gift shop to boot.More

Following a visit in June for a take away coffee my wife & I returned for a meal after walking the rail trail from Grosmont. Although the cafe was busy we were able to find a table & ordered our lunch. We had the Cornish...Pasty, salad, pickle, coleslaw & couscous. We also had a dessert. My wife had Yorkshire Curd Cheese cake & I had Apple Pie with custard. My wife wasn't very impressed with the Curd Cheese cake. She thought Cooplands was better. My apple pie was ok but could have done with more apple in it. The meal overall though was good, the salad was fresh, the service first class & friendly. We both finished with a coffee which was very good. We would visit the cafe again when in Goathland as we think this is the best. We thought the meal was value for money.More

Busy when arrived but found an outdoor table. Order inside and then food is delivered to your table. Great fish finger sandwiches. Lots of cakes to choose from in glass counter. Great flavour and fresh. Super place

What a gem of a place. After being turned away for food at both the village pubs (they had stopped serving at 2pm)we were told to try the tea rooms. So glad we did, extensive menu, lovely outdoor area which welcomes dogs, cakes amazing as...well as service. We loved our food, would definitely recommend this place and return if in area again.More
