We only visit Clare occasionally but always pop in for lunch at the Bell when we are here. It did not disappoint- the usual cosy welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a good range of hearty pub grub type food which was all excellent.

I would like the staff of the Bell for accommodating our family christmas catchup today, especially the young waiter who with his patience and good humour helped to make our reunion memorable. We wish the manager good luck for the future of The Bell.

Went here with friends for lunch. The set menu had a reasonable choice and we all enjoyed three delicious courses. The food was well cooked, well presented and the staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely return to this lovely old village and this pub.
