Hi Sunday lunch, all 3 main meals lukewarm, yorkshires so totally flat & soggy that it's impossible for the kitchen & serving staff not to know they had a problem prior to serving to their paying customer, roasties totally not crisp, gravy excellent, meat decent, Penfolds red wine by the glass on the cusp of turning Mentioned all of the... Received a 20% off voucher (not that that should make a difference, or should it?), arrived on a freezing cold Wednesday evening and got a lovely table by the roaring fire. Front of house staff were really nice and welcoming, we looked forward to our dinner. I ordered Wagyu burger at £13.50, tempted because it was 'specially bred for its... More

First time at the Priory, we normally eat at The Windmill or The Royal, but the food here is fresher, better quality and a more personal service. Nice interior and bar area, good selection of wines, beers and IPA on tap! Menu is more extensive and interesting than the other places mentioned here, and kids portions are possible. Service is... Our family of 12 had what felt like a nice private corner at the back of the restaurant. The place looked fully booked but was in no way loud and made for a nice atmosphere. Our expressionless waiter did memorise all 13 of our starters and mains which did feel a little bizarre but we gave him a deserving round... More

Went there for Sunday lunch. Lovely meal in nice surroundings. The Sunday platter was well worth the money. The pub was packed so it was just as well we booked ahead.

Went for a meal for 2 during the week, lovely pub, ample parking and fantastically decorated throughout. Warm, friendly atmosphere, staff were welcoming and helpful from entry to exit. Food was sublime, fire was on- nice and warm. Clean tables, cutlery and crockery. Wine was fantastic and nice and cold! Have wanted to go here for a while and I'm... More

Been here lots of times, the food is always nice, and a nice atmosphere and country feel. There is a big car park at the side.

Popped in for a casual pub lunch as we've visited The Globe near Bath previously and had a good meal and they are both Vintage Inns. Picked a lovely table near the fire as it was a cold day. Husband ordered the burger which was delicious apparently, daughter and I had chicken blt which came with chips and salad, I... More

Went to the priory pub on the 29th December for a family get together to celebrate my stepfathers birthday, the meal was booked for just after midday. There were two menus to choose from, the main menu and the christmas menu. I wanted a steak sandwich but was told they were not doing them, so then asked for a rump... More
