We are actually staying in York so we managed to get the last bus to Huby but needed the taxi back. Anyhow back to the pub. Must even in these trying times the staff were very helpful and efficient. A good range of real ales....More
Turned off by the lack of vegetarian choice (vegetarian option: 'take it or leave it') at the nearby Burn Hall Hotel, we found this local gem. Enthusiastic and welcoming host and staff and a menu to enthuse over / enquire about. Could wish the music...More
Ate here mid-week and had a great meal with two other couples. The menu was extremely varied and all our choices were super.
The staff were incredibly friendly and did their utmost to help us to have a lovely experience. Would certainly recommend it.
Really good. Most mains £10 . Burgers, pizzas and specials and a few desserts. Plenty of vegan choices too
Range of craft beers available but we were boring and had wine.
