The owner and manager were working and were very friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, food was very good and all freshly made. Highly recommend the veggie pizza. Music was at right level and there was a good ambience.
Did not have the opportunity to dine at the Sandstone on this occasion, after a long walk the cider recommended by the landlord was so refreshing, just nice to sit outside, would return in the future to dine.
The menu has a good choice including the usual burgers, pizza, grill type food but I had the vegetarian grape leaves with mushrooms and tomato with Parmesan cheese which came with a salad and pitta bread so was a nice size portion and reasonably priced....More

Just had an excellent meal at The Sandstone. Although busy, the service was good and we were made to feel very welcome. The food is delicious especially the Sunday roasts. Big plateful of deliciousness. Excellent sticky toffee pudding. We will definitely be visiting again.
