This used to be a fab place to eat, until the menu changed, became pub grub, did not have the lovely well presented meals that we were used to having prepared by Gareth. Now they are not doing food except bookings for large numbers, parties...More

Typical friendly welcome with good choice of real ale. It is a 10 to 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive from Bagden Hall.

While arriving at the pub starving. I waited over 45 minuets for slop!! The service was appalling the food was dripping in grease and tasteless.. The owner was more interested in chatting up young punters than serving regular village people. Very disappointed in this place...More

Somewhere that has a small varied menu making choosing an easy task. The food is freshly cooked with large choices of veg. Nice friendly staff and a good selection of beers.

Excellent food at this restaurant, freshly cooked and really tasty. There are a number of real ales on offer, along with some nice wines. Very good value for money, more expensive than your standard pub grub, but then the food is well above average! Checked out the lunch and Sunday menu's which also looked great. Will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone.
