Food average compared with other establishments. However, we like the place as we have been before. Unfortunately, on this occasion the service after the main meal was so slow that we thought the staff had gone on strike.

Hi Josephine, sorry to hear you had slow service on your last visit, I shall investigate personally as to why my team had stopped serving you after you had eaten your main meal, kind regards Jack
Myself and missus thought we'd try something out of town and different for a Sunday. Couldn't rate the food highly enough. We got the sunday sharer and excellent value for money. Came with a selection of meats. Would highly recommend.
Hi Danny, Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! our sunday sharer is very popular, make sure to come and visit us again soon :) Many thanks Jack
A country pub with city centre standards. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel so welcome, even being given help to charge up a phone. Julie looked after us, a diamond, and the food was delicious and fairly priced. The chain...is JW Lees which in my opinion is carving out a reputation as a serious food pub outfit. Their beers are good, if well kept, but their food is surpassing better known chains including Greene King. Her indoors ate 3 courses for about £20 and was purring for the first time since VE day!More
Thank you for such a lovely review! we are always glad to hear that our guests have enjoyed themselves especially if they were purring :) Please come and join us again soon many thanks Jack
Excellent food lovely atmosphere staff very friendly, I had the soup which was exquisite and sea bass and prawn with risotto. My husband had mushrooms and liver as his main. Will be coming back again very soon.

Always the place to go to from many visits to the bury area. Quite often busy towards the weekend, so best to book as so popular. Food and and ambiance always good and menu choice is plentiful. They are also adaptable if you have some...intolerance's with food. Would highly recommend.More

The Duckworth Arms has a separate fryer for the gluten free food and staff were very reassuring about their preparation of the meal. This was the small portion of fish and chips which I opted to have without the mushy peas (I was offered alternatives...of garden peas or beans). Chips were ok, nothing special, and it was all nicely cooked. Food took a little while, but I think that it was busier than usual, so not a problem for me.More

In brief, good food, good price, lovely setting, spotlessly clean, amazing staff! Attention to detail was excellent, and the choice of lunchtime menu spot on. Loved it.

What a great and welcoming pub! set in the village of Edenfield, with a great beer garden for the summer months, the pub is dog friendly and has an open fire in the main bar area for those cosy winter nights! Staff were very welcoming...and attentive, which in a lot of pubs these days is sadly not the case! They offer a comprehensive menu to suit all tastes with plenty of traditional pub classics, as well as some seasonal dishes. Well worth a visit and highly recommend. 5 Stars!More

We had a fantastic lunch at the Duckworth Arms. We ate from the light lunch menu that’s great value. The menu isn’t the mass produced typical pub grub, it has a home made feel about it and draws from local produce. The black pudding fritters...with chilli sauce were lovely and I could heat the bang bang peanut sauce that comes with the tempura veg by the bucketload. The mains were a decent size for a light lunch. It’s a shame the lunch menu isn’t served outside but our Labrador was welcome in the bar area where there were treats and dog bowls. We’ll deffo be back!More
Thank you for your lovely review Elena, i will pass this on to my team
