Fantastic place with fresh seafood, excellent dishes, great purposely built space, generous service and portions. Cannot recommend enough. It’s the place for you if you love fish and seafood. There is a children’s menu as well and children even small ones seem to enjoy it...More

We arrived 45 minutes late at the Lochleven Seafood Cafe, after not being able to find it one dark evening in october. But the waiter was very understanding and friendly, and we had one of our best meals on our roundtrip in Scotland. Thank you!

The food at Lochleven Seafood Cafe is by far the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the UK. That isn't necessarily saying much, but this restaurant was really good. There is a mostly seasonal menu, but the night I dined, I had smoked salmon...More

My sister and I had an excellent dinner here, starting with the freshest tasting oysters and followed by an excellent deconstructed salmon and haddock pie (see pic). The vegetables were cooked perfectly and very artfully arranged. My sister had a delicious piece of salmon that...More

We found this by chance in the summer... so knowing that we were (sort of) passing again, we booked ahead... and even though we were eating at mid-day... it was a good job that we did reserve a table... as it was soon packed! This...More

Ate here tonight after such great reviews. I can't say I disagree with some of the comments but I can't give 5 stars. The food was lovely and fresh but not without it's issues. The razor clams I was served contained grit which wasn't pleasant...More

Nearby the Clachaig Inn, in Glencoe or the Loch Leven Hotel top road at North Ballachulish. Some times they only have limited rooms so worth booking early. Check with the MacDonald Hotel in Kinlochleven too. :) Check out... More

Lochleven Seafood Café, Deli and Gift Shop is situated on the north shores of beautiful Loch Leven (on the B86 in North Ballachulish) on the west coast in the Highlands of Scotland. Allowing the sea loch and mountain views to take centre stage alongside our simple yet elegant seafood dishes, our café is designed modest and unamusing. Live shellfish for our family run Restaurant and Deli is kept in onsite seawater tanks where the water is pumped continuously from the cold clean sea-loch on our shore. After being caught locally by our own fishing boats, the shellfish is stored in these tanks. This allows our Chefs to access the freshest possible west coast seafood for the Restaurant and our Deli. NEW for 2018 glass fronted Coffee Shop, Bar & Waiting are with stunning view.
