Wonderful seafood. The restaurant catches its own seafood and the freshness is obvious. Best langoustines I have ever had anywhere. All the food especially the seafood platters looked excellent. Not a large place so perhaps good to make reservations,

Ok so I wanted to love this place given the reviews and the food was pretty good. It's an odd set up though with the industrial decor, high white ceilings and stark white walls. The cullen skink to start was fabulous but the main courses...More

A trip to the Fort William area would not be complete without a visit here. Delicious brilliantly cooked seafood straight from the locality. This time we ate Cullen Skink, Seafood Soup with Aioli, pan cooked scallops, and Garlic Langoustines which were huge. As always the...More

While staying a short week in the area we went there twice, and surely we'll come back Great choice of seafood and shellfish, and charming and calm location on the north shore of the loch. The restaurant is always full with tourists (like us, so...More

Nearby the Clachaig Inn, in Glencoe or the Loch Leven Hotel top road at North Ballachulish. Some times they only have limited rooms so worth booking early. Check with the MacDonald Hotel in Kinlochleven too. :) Check out... More

Description
Lochleven Seafood Café, Deli and Gift Shop is situated on the north shores of beautiful Loch Leven (on the B86 in North Ballachulish) on the west coast in the Highlands of Scotland. Allowing the sea loch and mountain views to take centre stage alongside our simple yet elegant seafood dishes, our café is designed modest and unamusing. Live shellfish for our family run Restaurant and Deli is kept in onsite seawater tanks where the water is pumped continuously from the cold clean sea-loch on our shore. After being caught locally by our own fishing boats, the shellfish is stored in these tanks. This allows our Chefs to access the freshest possible west coast seafood for the Restaurant and our Deli. NEW for 2018 glass fronted Coffee Shop, Bar & Waiting are with stunning view.
