We had supper here on the last night of our week's holiday and the food and service were both excellent. The staff were very welcoming and the service was great even though the pub was packed. The log fire and visit by local Wassailers made the evening!

We were staying in Reynoldston with our dogs and this place was in walking distance. The website claims they are dog walker friendly so we assumed we'd be welcome with our dogs. We were not - there's a sign on the front door saying no dogs allowed and the staff member I enquired with confirmed it - even in November.... More

My wife and I took my parents to the King Arthur for a celebratory birthday meal. We had two fish options which were both overcooked (John Dory less so than the Mackerel) and a pumpkin tart (£9.50) which was about 2 parts pastry to 1 part filling (not including the crust), which is absolutely unforgivable. The other meal was lasagne... More

I've eaten here before and then, as this time, feel it ought to be a lot better than it is. The long list of 'specials' should be a warning that special doesn't mean much - since the list is just like a normal menu. The beer on offer is good - Gower Gold and Felinfoel, for example. The staff are... More

Beautiful place for a meal with friends. The staff are fantastic so efficient and friendly. Never had bad meal there. Pity the summer is over an we will not be able to eat outside, never mind the log fire will be lit in the bar.

We went to the King Arthur as a group of 11 for a birthday celebration Friday dinner. We remembered it from a few years ago and it is still just as good. There is an excellent menu and everyone in our group was very happy with what they had. The staff were very welcoming and the service was friendly and... More

I stayed & ate here recently - what a lovely place! Some fantastic views, busy restaurant & pub in the middle of the Welsh valleys speaks volumes for the place. My food & guest ale was fantastic - THE BEST burger I have ever tasted. Everyone around me seemed content with what they had to eat & drink too, &... More

We weren't sure that we'd visit the King Arthur on this holiday, as dogs are only allowed outside. However, following a trip to Oxwych Bay, it was a beautiful day, so we stopped and sat outside. It was quite busy, but the staff were very friendly and efficient. They serve Gower Gold ale, which was a bonus, and the menu,... More

Drove past on our way to campsite and decided to visit for dinner last night. Greeted by friendly staff and patrons and were pleased that a full menu with great selection of specials was on offer. Sirloin and fillet were excellent and the boys enjoyed The Gower Gold! A relaxing evening and a great start to our holiday.
