Called in for Coffee on 1 June 21. Excellent Coffee and Cakes but what was really noticeable was the lady running the shop management of Covid-19 restrictions. The social distancing and all other aspects were outstanding. Places like this should be awarded/commended for doing the...Covid -19 requirements so well.More
We decided to visit Denbigh during the lockdown restrictions, we didn't expect to find many places open but the Glass Onion was. It was good to see that all protocols where adhered to, spacing of tables, number of customers, good hand sanitization station etc. More...to the point the service was good and the food was unexpectedly very good. I think the owners name is Sue, I was recommending the restaurant to a friend who told me that he had been there many times before and it was always good. Well done Sue and good luck for the future.More
Great place and service. Lovely coffee and sausage sandwich. Hope this place gets the business it deserves during these difficult times. Lady owner is very friendly and interesting. Would recommend. Relaxing and tasty!!
Lovely food, as lovely service from the owner! Would certainly recommend! It was a nice day so we sat outside with our Dog and a water bowl was provided for him. So I know it's dog friendly if sitting outside, not. 100% if it's dog...friendly when sitting in, but worth an ask if you're visitingMore
I met some friends here today for lunch. Just wonderful. The chicken soup tasted out of this world. The sandwiches were thickly filled and tasty, the salad was huge and packed full of meat and cheese. Would highly recommend. The owner was managing alone and...was clearly very busy, but she was friendly and polite and we had a lovely chat with her. Thank you.More
We visited Denbigh to see a castle on a nice sunny day. Not many places open right now and this little cafe was very busy. We managed to get a table outside. The owner (I presume) was very lovely and apologetic at restrictions around cafe....Lovely, sunny and quite place. Very good coffee. Tasty bacon sandwiches and amazing chocolate/red velvet cake! It came with cream and strawberries. Prices are very reasonable!
Called in the Glass Onion for a coffee. Very busy morning there - all seats outside taken. Decided to 'risk' going indoors, but our fears soon vanished. Tables set out respecting social distancing guidance. Owner wore her visor at all times. Form available to complete...with contact details.
A lovely cup of coffee too! Good to see so many people enjoying meals there - will definitely go back.More
Very sorry for such a late reply...!!! We are dog friendly, but only in our outside area..unfortunately we are too small to allow dogs inside. It is really lovely to sit outside..especially during the summer months!
