The best cottage pie I have eaten, wonderful steamed vegetables and plenty of pie! Very well priced.

A pleasant place to have lunch (or breakfast) - welcoming staff, freshly cooked and appetising meal. Coffee not as good as its parent in Moreton Hall, and surroundings a bit dingy, or I would have given it 5 stars.

This coffee shop is now called The Coffee House. Staff are very friendly. Coffee is excellent. Soup also very nice with home made rolls. I enjoyed my poached eggs on mixed leaves with chilli dressing (very mild). Scrambled eggs on toast were OK, not special, and expensive for what you got. We did find it rather chilly as the back... The flat white is so good! And so are the cheese scones, and the staff are lovely too. Good atmosphere.

We popped in for a quick cup of tea on the way to visit some family... And what a pleasant surprise! Beautifully decorated, freshly prepared food. Irresistible cakes and scones on display and all for a very reasonable price. Looking forward to visiting again.

Friendly young waiters but not particularly efficient....... My sprout and bacon soup was luke warm and so loaded with salt that I felt dehydrated and uneasy for some time afterwards...... The cottage pie was not much better. Not much ambiance or style.....

Our first time at the Coffee House. It looks a little tired and the furniture is due for an update. Having said that the food was excellent and the staff very polite and friendly.
