We chose this pub as it was near our B&B. There was a reasonable choice of food at expected prices. Pleasant garden seating was available. Serving of food was uncomfortably slow, probably because we went at a popular time on a Saturday evening

Hello, We're sorry to hear about your experience but we don't have a Landlady at this pub. The pub is run by myself who was on the outside bar and my son who was working on the inside bar. Regards,

Nice local pub with music nights too. Stayed in Box for the weekend and had dinner here which was nice, no frills but was nice and good service. Portions were massive so probably could have shared the stir fry but can't complain!
