Stopped here with the family, following a walk. Large selection of Home made cakes and even a gluten free selection for me. Service impeccable. Lovely to sit outside with the dog in the autumn sunshine. A bit pricey and not enough tables and chairs. Well...More

Been here three times now and love it! It is only small so booking is probably advisable, especially as we have dogs so we always request an outside table. The menu is limited but food is delicious, all homemade, and the cakes are to die...More

We were greeted by a charming young waitress. We enjoyed an afternoon tea (including delicious scones) served from bone china cups. Delightful.

Just happened upon it when we spotted the interesting castle from the main road. I wish we had more time to spend in the cafe or it was closer - I'm sure it would be my regular if I lived in the village. Spotless and...More

Owing to its limited opening (Wednesday to Saturday only), while we seem to come to Castle Acre on one of the other days, this is the first time we had visited but I hope it won't be the last. The café has a pleasant atmosphere,...More

Thank you for a generous and thoughtful review. If you visit again, please ask for some butter with your cream tea and you may call to a reserve a table (we set aside the 'soft furnishings' for walk-ins). Best wishes.

I visited this delightful cafe whilst on a short break with my husband and daughter. The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. I would happily recommend a visit to the cafe for old and young alike.
