A family run cafe and restaurant based in Charlton Kings serving breakfast, pastries, sandwiches, salads and jacket potatoes. We have a weekly chicken and chips evening on Thursday's. There is a little outdoor patio garden perfect for summer days and the cafe interior is modern.

I came across Roasted Cafe from a recommend of a friend.
Four of us went for brunch and I have to say it was really delicious food. We had spit-roasted chicken served with home cooked fries, a brie & bacon toasted sandwich, a large summer salad, and some amazing spaghetti.
Everything was welcoming, cozy modern decor, super clean toilets too, which is always a great indicator of a clean kitchen in my view.
No negatives really. Our food arrived quickly, even with quite a crowd inside. The price was excellent, very good value also at less than £10 a head with drinks and amazing (large) desserts.
I took their take-away menu, and have ordered my first spit-roasted chicken today!
For sure easily one of the best places in Cheltenham for breakfast, lunch or a casual supper.

I visited Roasted Cafe last night. After hearing how good the chicken and chips night was I had to check it out. Roasted exceeded my expectations! Chicken was perfectly cooked, served with a generous portion of chips and probably some of the best coleslaw I've ever tasted. Service was attentive and food arrived quickly. Definately worth a visit!

We were on our way to a family funeral and needed somewhere for a quick.lunch. my son found the roasted cage on Google and it was only 100 yards off our route with a free car park opposite. The staff were friendly on arrival and the menu looked great. When the sandwiches , toasties and wraps arrived they were extremely well packed and delicious, we ordered some chips to share as an accompaniment and they were very tasty skin on fries. Service and food was great, prices reasonable, I'd certainly recommend..

A 50 minute wait for a cold disappointing breakfast .
Toast that had never even seen a toaster . Appreciate things happen that can affect service but being told it was in part because chef had a problem with the beans? Seriously ?when placed order a simple heads up on waiting times would have been a big help ! To add insult to injury a guy was offered his meal for half price and he had waited 30 minutes less than us ! Want to support local business but not if this is the standard!

This place has got to be one the most awful places I have ever been to. The service was terrible and very very slow. We were told 15 minutes to wait... then over half hour later still no food. Our order wasn't complicated, with a few toasted sandwiches and some fries, and it was a takeaway. But they managed to mess that up too. My nephew was upset with his order... he ordered a toasted sandwich with sausage bacon and no egg. He ended up with a basic sandwich with egg. The chips were overcooked verging on burnt. This place was way over priced for what we got. Never again will I step foot in this place. Just awful.

Stopped in for a cold drink and a bite to eat around mid afternoon
Went straight through to a delightful tranquil courtyard garden for alfresco dining. Had the best coronation chicken wrap with Parmesan fries and an original ginger beer over ice and all for less than £10 per head. The portions were very generous and the owners and staff very warm and friendly and inviting. It’s an absolute no brainer must go to and just be in the moment and enjoy

Very slow service, ordered our food and was told it would take 15-20 minutes. We were on a tight schedule and the food took over 45 minutes to arrive therefore had to leave and take our food away with us. Didn’t get a refund

Great food, great service, cannot fault anything at this hidden gem of a cafe. Been coming here for almost a year now and it very quickly became our favourite cafe for breakfasts, lunches even special chicken and chip nights on Thursdays. Takeaway is also an option as well as fresh local bakery breads and while rotisserie chicken

Had a great night at the Roasted Cafe with a group of friends. Delicious rotisserie chicken, chips & coleslaw, and the wine selection was reasonably priced and really good. The desserts were pretty good too!!
A fab cheap and cheerful, fun night out.
We’ll be booking again shortly.

Delicious full English breakfast using quality ingredients at a very reasonable price. Cheerful and prompt service. Great for lunches too - eat in or take away. Chicken roasted on the premises each day. A little gem.

It’s been a number of years since I visited Roasted, and I’m so glad we decided to have lunch here today! Service and food were excellent. I’m veggie and had a really tasty sandwich. The food tasted really fresh, was great value for money.

Popped in for a gorgeous hot chocolate and was tempted by the Parmesan Fries , oh my goodness they were out of this world!! Ended up leaving with a rotisserie chicken to take home for the family as the smell was mouthwatering ! Service was fantastic, so much choice for food and beverages. Lovely cafe and relaxed atmosphere. Generous sized portions. My new go to place . Thank you team Roasted :)

Today I came alone to take away, however usually come with my family. Although it was the busy lunch time rush, I was given a waiting time and reassured about my order constantly. The food was fabulous as always today I opted for a chicken, chorizo and red onion Mayo sandwich and chips and it was freshly made, hot and tasty. Highly recommend

Me and my husband absolutely love the Roasted Cafe. Not sure what happened with the previous bad reviews, I’d say isolated cases. Yes, you can wait a little while but the quality of the food and the value for money is excellent, so totally worth the wait. We often phone in advance and then pick our order up to avoid a wait.
The coronation chicken is the best I’ve had, made from rotisserie chicken. So pleased this cafe is on our door step!
