Booked a table for two on a Saturday night. We arrived a little bit early but this was not a problem as our booking was acknowledged by the staff and our table was ready. All customers had to order their food and drink from the...bar. Our starters arrived shortly after our order and were absolutely delicious then we had a nice break before our mains, I had a steak which I thoroughly enjoyed. Couldn't fault this place on service, quality and atmosphere. All made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and call again.More

Been to this lovely pub a few times over the past six months after recently buying a holiday home at a nearby site. We've called in both just for a drink and for food. It's a lovely cosy pub with a great atmosphere , all...the staff are friendly and polite. Each time the food has been faultless , good size portions and good prices. I most recently had sausage , mash , seasonal veg and onion gravy... absolutely delicious , high quality sausage and most definitely the best sausage and mash meal I've ever had as pub food. I have read the negative reviews , and personally feel I need to give this great place some good feedback .More

Booked a table here for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. 9 family members in attendance. The food was excellent. Burgers, Mussels, Lasagne and Cock and Bull (Chicken and Beef dish) were all good quality and enjoyed. Waiting time for the food to be served was fairly...quick. As this was a celebration meal, l had arranged for a bouquet of flowers for my wife to be delivered there during the day. These were accepted by the Miller Arms and after our meal, they brought these out and presented them to her. We chose the Miller Arms to celebrate the occasion as we have visited on previous occasions and always been pleased with our meals. This meal confirmed the Miller Arms as one of our favourite places to eat and will certainly visit again.More

Party of four, two of us couldn't have chosen meal as not available. My meal arrives Chicken Tikka with rice and popperdoms. I ask waitress " where's my rice " "Oh we have no rice, so we've given you chips". No mention on ordering. I...had to plough thru a bowl of curry and a pile of chips, the curry without any spice or flavour . Saturday night and out of stock on certain lines, meal was a shambles.More

Really friendly staff but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. I would’ve given a lower rating if it hadn’t have been for the lovely staff. This place has a funny smell, I don’t know what it is? When queuing at the bar to place my...order the smell got stronger. No wine list. I chose a wine from looking at the bottles in the fridge, it wasn’t very nice. I’d asked for a dry white, not a Pinot Grigio. The bar tender said, sorry we have no Chardonnay?!?! No wifi (not a big hassle but it helps when dining with kids). We were told they were fully booked until 2.30pm. When we arrived we were told there was a wait on the food because they were so busy. We didn’t mind. There were lots of empty tables and the food arrived super quick?!?! The food was very average, big portions but tasteless. I suppose my expectations where set high when I read on their website that they are a ‘local gastro pub’. This certainly isn’t gastro pub standards, I’d say it’s more like a Harvester.More
