We sat on the patio in the sunshine. My husband enjoyed his tea and my latte was delicious. Scrambled eggs and mushrooms were perfect! A great breakfast

This place is off the beaten track. I've always had good service and food here. You have to pick the right time to visit because it can get really busy.

Tasty food at a reasonable price. Tea served with leaves and strainer as it should be. Will be back.

Stopped here for lunch with my mum, dad and husband. It was very busy but there was a waiting list and we didn't have that long to wait. Food was nice and we really enjoyed it, it is a bit on the pricey side for maybe what you get but for a one off lunch stop couldn't really complain. That... More

I have been to the Bull Pen numerous times. Since Mary has been in charge the restaurant has gone downhill in terms of customer service. On a couple of occasions there have been mistakes with the food we have ordered and the bill; being charged too much as items had been put through separately rather than as a meal stated... More

Had lunch here yesterday in the spring sunshine. Food was lovely and the staff brilliant, nothing too much trouble. Also had the strawberry meringue as a take out, AMAZING x

Lovely place for lunch/ tea. Fresh produce, prices are reasonable but justified when your food arrives at the table. Salad which is fresh without brown edges always scores extra points for me. The Buck Rarebit looked good. Great chips. Scones are pretty good value. Drinks nice and hot. Service was good. Pricing is what they can just about get away... More

How fortunate to be able to have our lunch sitting outside in the sunshine, in the beautiful English countryside. Such a pretty place in such a quaint and pretty setting. A lovely menu with a variety of food from breakfasts to salad to burgers and sandwiches , with some very delicious looking cakes as well to choose from. Pleasant service,... More

We happened across this lovely little Rural shopping centre which has some really nice little shops, ample parking and all next to the working farm. The Bull Pen is truly excellent, we arrived at 11 and decided upon brunch to find the restaurant nearly full. The food was very good, ingredients excellent and sourced locally. The staff were attentive but... More
