Some dishes are very good - some are definitely to be avoided! Green curry is good but mediocre. Red curry is good. Masamman was ok. Still, not a bad place for a quick meal. Very warm and friendly staff.

Great authentic food.. Staff are great and the place is a little gem. For anyone who's been to Thailand they will really appreciate the food here. Reasonably priced and great busy atmosphere. Look forward to visiting again soon.

I booked a table for 2 at Tamarind Thai because I wanted to say 'Thank You' to my dear wife for supporting me in my cycling. Not only is their food the best in Rickmansworth, but their wines are well chosen and reasonably priced.

I will not be returning to Tamarind Thai. I cannot believe the cheek of the waiter and the owner. When ordering food the waiter was very abrupt rude. There was an incident when my mother said to the owner that the children on the next...More

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Good choice of dishes on the menu. Clearly a popular place. Would have liked a smile from the staff!

No I don't think so. This is a very busy little cafe/restaurant. The ambience is basic but pleasing and the food exceptional. I would hesitate to want to take a small baby or child there as room is at a premium. Not saying... More

Quit the diet for one night and enjoy one of the best Thai restaurants around! Seriously though, if you speak to the owner Sasima , she will give you ideas for less rich dishes. Thai food isnt that fattening anyway.
