Tamarind Thai Cafe was such a great find for us. The food her was really great - I especially recommend the fish cakes, spring rolls, sweetcorn patties and any of the noodle dishes. The selection of vegetarian food is also really great and their portion...More

Went to this place and was very pleasantly surprised as looks like nothing appealing from the outside. Food was amazing as was the wine - all incredibly cheap too. Will revisit for sure.

Excellent little homely restaurant, serving Lovely authentic Thai food by really nice staff. Very reasonably priced and not so different to what you’d expect in Thailand itself

Managed to get a table downstairs which apparently is better. Ordered mixed starters which were excellent Then ordered chicken teriyaki which was huge!! A beef pad dish and tempura prawns again all served fresh and very tasty. A decent white wine at £14.50 which was...More

Been a regular here for over 10 years & enjoyed it. It's evident that they can't cope with their popularity. Today my vegetarian green curry was full of lettuce , only 3 tiny pieces of broccoli & 1 small piece of red pepper. A bit...More

Absolutely delicious food- the deep fried ribs are outstanding. No fuss restaurant and it's reflected in the price but absolutely not the taste.

We've been going to this restaurant for years and we have also ordered take aways! Food has always been exceptional! There's another Thai restaurant very close by but we always go to this one regardless of how busy or how long they keep us waiting....More

No I don't think so. This is a very busy little cafe/restaurant. The ambience is basic but pleasing and the food exceptional. I would hesitate to want to take a small baby or child there as room is at a premium. Not saying... More

Quit the diet for one night and enjoy one of the best Thai restaurants around! Seriously though, if you speak to the owner Sasima , she will give you ideas for less rich dishes. Thai food isnt that fattening anyway.
