Had a meal with friends. Staff very friendly and accommodating but the pub lacks atmosphere. The menu was varied but the quality of the food was disappointingly average. I doubt we will visit again.

This pub used to serve really great thai food. It now looks like it has been taken over by a brewery and will be offering identikit pub food. Real shame.

Newish owners have restored the restaurant to its former glory. Straightforward English pub food, attentively served, decent portions, very well cooked. The ales are well kept and well served as well. Hard to ask for more.
