Incredible ambience food and staff, best vegan food on the Wirral. The variety of dishes is amazing and flavours are so tasty, I would highly recommend!

friendly helpful staff, beautiful decor, spotless, and deeelicious food, all ten plates plus dessert! I highly recommend, we will definitely be returning, well worth the 50min journey there, and the 50min back planning our next visit at the end of march

First visit to this Vegan restaurant and would highly recommend. Food was delicious and so many options to choose from. We chose 9 so will have to return to try the rest! The Katsu curry was our favourite and the banofee pie was excellent Staff...are all lovely and friendly. Cannot wait to go back!More

What a wonderful place. Lovely staff, great atmosphere. The food is amazing, lots of choice to suit everyone’s taste, all hand made and really delicious. Would definitely recommend, one of the best restaurants in Heswall a real gem. We will be back soon

First visit to Vegan Tapas last weekend and we were impressed! The food was incredible with lots of drinks to chose from too. Our favourites were the Oyster mushroom shawarma flatbreads with tzatziki & the grilled asparagus with chilli jam. There was a great atmosphere...and lovely staff. We'll be back :)More

Specialising in home made from scratch food. There are no beyond burgers here which pleases me greatly! We always have a lovely meal when we come and it's great that it's 100% Vegan. Plenty of choice of healthy and unhealthy options to suit.

Me and my partner decided to celebrate our anniversary at Vegan Tapas last week- and we are so glad we did! I’m a vegetarian and my partner is a meat eater who is trying to cut down- both of us agreed that the food we...ordered was some of the nicest food we had ever eaten. We had 6 tapas and 2 sides between us and that was more than enough as the portions are so big! We also shared a crème brûlée which was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful- we can’t wait to come back! Would definitely suggest trying, even if you’re not vegan or veggie! So happy to have such a lovely vegan restaurant right on our doorstep! 🌱💚More

The place itself is well decorated, very clean and the staff are lovely. The food wasn't offensive enough to complain but i didn't eat anything i would be keen to eat again. I have much worse but also much better food. It was earlier today...and i am already forgetting what i had. My partner liked the gnocchi. The mushroom pate was probably the nicest dish i had. It was just a bit one dimensional in flavour though (perhaps needed some tarragon or garlic or pepper or something). I found the aubergine discs and the Nashville hot crispy mushrooms to be rather greasy. The dip that came with the mushrooms tasted of very little as did the mushrooms (no sign of a 'hot' rub). I could not detect any Ras al hanout on the Ras al hanout sweet potatoes. The sauce that came with aranchini was again bland.More

This was our second visit (again after walking part of the Wirral Way) and we absolutely loved it! The food is fantastic - such a wide range of dishes and I can't quite get used to the novelty of being able to choose anything on...the menu! We shared 6 small plates (they're not that small...) between us. Roast cauliflower with tahini sauce was rich, but the pomegranate molasses cut through and stopped it being sickly, while the ras el hanout sweet potato was the right side of spicy and the sweet potato was meltingly tender. The arancini and katsu balls were lovely - something I'd never do at home and a real treat and the patatas bravas was a fabulous combination of taste and texture; crunchy potato, aioli and tomatoes. We had a plate each of the arancini and the patatas bravas, we enjoyed them so much. I'd like to be able to comment on the desserts, but we were full after all that and just went for a pot of tea. Could even have managed a wafer thin mint... There was a lovely atmosphere with subdued music which was never intrusive, and the staff were friendly. It was great to visit a restaurant where vegetables cooked in interesting ways were the star of the show, rather than relying on a meat substitute. Will definitely visit again next time I'm in the area.More

I couldn't recommend more, for both vegans and meat eaters. The food is amazing & a good choice of plates. Nowhere on the Wirral compares to it.

Second visit to Vegan Tapas. The atmosphere is so lovely and the food is always delicious. They are very accommodating for dietary requirements and preferences. I can't wait to go back again!

We've been twice now to Vegan Tapas and both times we've been served really delicious food and received excellent service. For us, they have the balance of a relaxed, cosy atmosphere and making it feel like a special night out, just right. The menu seems...to change a little too so keeps things fresh. My wife is gluten free but they have plenty of options and accommodated even with items that weren't listed GF on the menu.More
