Un cooked food slow service and children left waiting on puddings well after adults had finished. Bad visit all round

We visited as we have on several occasions before for a birthday meal with family. The food is reasonably priced and wholesome, no Michelin stars here but honest pub grub at a reasonable price.

Food here is lovely and service is great. I had a chicken burger with sweet potato fries and my other half had the mixed grill and both were delicious. Would definitely come again

Visited The Grapes for the first time today, we were celebrating our Granddaughter christening. The service was excellent and the food was served to a high standard, the prices were very reasonable, definitely worth a visit

Good pub food, the Jumbo cod and chips is excellent,it is a two for one deal so the cheapest meal is free, the house wine good value at £8.99 a bottle, also a real ale on draught

Disappointing experience particularly for our 3rd party member hadnt been here before. Although quieter than previous visits still not to our taste as food was disappointing too. Convenient as we are inly 4 doors away so likely we will go again DEF not a weekend though. Useful for a spontaneous " cant be bothered cooking lets nip to the Grapes"... More

Visited with friends and family.. Was pleasantly surprised with how good this place is.. Quality of food and service has progressed hugely. Value for money. Would recommend this place for all budgets and tastes. Ticks all the necessary boxes and has disabled access.

Booked a table for a 50th birthday meal, when on arrival there was no table for us, felt like it didn't matter to the staff as the reply was that they had been very busy, even though we had booked the table 3weeks prior !!!!!!

My partner and I eat out quite a lot, but have slowly, become disheartened in finding somewhere decent to eat. At last we can relax. The Grapes is a lovely place to eat, excellent service, friendly staff and the food is fantastic. Would certainly recommend, this place.
