We have been using Monsoori Heights for both eat ins & take aways since they opened and I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal. Having a chef owner who uses good ingredients and knows his spices means you get a consistently...good curry. I have tried a number of curries including chicken Dhansak ,duck mitch masala,lal mass and Kache Gosht Kim Biryaniand all have been great. We are away on business so didn’t know the area or restaurants but found this on trip advisor. The staff here were amazing very friendly and advised us on the dishes and wines. The curries were so full off flavours and very well presented. Great...size portions. We will be back next year * highly recommended.More

An evening spent with friends, and we visited this Indian restaurant after it he'd been highly recommended . We were not disappointed. Fair to say, that we were served a variety of the most excellent meals. I think it fair to say the best and...most authentic Indian cuisine I have ever experienced. The food was delightfully served, and each dish had an aroma of its own. The array of colours and smells that hit the senses was wonderful. Service was really good, and staff were happy to advise on side dishes to compliment the main choices that we had made. A terrific evening. Good company and amazing food. What could be better?More

My Wife & I came here for lunch today & were not disappointed! We received a friendly welcome & were promptly seated, the menu is varied but has all your favourites. We had poppadoms, starters, & a main meal, the food was piping hot, delicious...& the portions were generous (it's 19.30 & I'm still not hungry!) We'll definitely be returning!More

Upon re-opening we were keen to visit as we had previously enjoyed the food but found it difficult to overlook the hygiene standards (check the bottom of the window decals out - one was cleaned as they put a poster up but the rest are...covered in mould) Previously we had checked our bills and often found corrections offering to buy the waiter a calculator!! The last straw was being charged double for our main dish and no one willing to correct their mistake Wished we hadn't paid now and had just walked out No wander you have a one star hygiene rating from the hygiene standards agency We will now dine in Lymington where they have a five star ratingMore

After seeing the positive reviews, we decided to go here for dinner. Seated at 7.15pm, it took 2 hours for the food to arrive to our table!! I have never waited so long for food to arrive in a restaurant. No communication whatsoever from the...staff informing us of the delay. The manager seemed to be more interested in the locals and making sure their dining experience was great, regularly speaking to them and checking on them. As we had never been to the restaurant before, we were ignored throughout the evening. The food itself was good, full of flavour and tasty which was the only saving grace of this place, but after waiting 2 hrs, I was over it. When the bill arrived it came handwritten, the price was £45 and added to this was £19.50 service charge (over 40% s/c) ?? Not sure as to what service we were paying for, after a 2 hr wait and poor customer service. By the time we had gotten & ate our food it was 10pm, I did not have the energy to dispute the charges, so we paid and left. It was such a disappointing evening and ruined our night. One of the worst experiences in dining I’ve had.More

Our good friends big birthday treat, so decided on our favourite Indian restaurant, Monsoori Heights. Always a friendly staff welcome, and a chat with all the waiters. Food was excellent as always, hot, full of flavour and washed down with a couple of pints of...cold Cobra.
